How to use gauze bandage correctly?  

When applying gauze bandage, attention should be paid to the following principles:

• First aid personnel must face the injured person and take appropriate position.
• The wound must be covered with sterile gauze before a bandage is applied.
• Hold the bandage head in the left hand and the bandage roll in the right hand, with the outside of the bandage close to the part.
• The bandage should be wound from the lower part of the wound upward, usually from left to right, and from bottom to top.
• The bandage should not be too tight to avoid local swelling or too loose to avoid slippage.
• In order to maintain the functional position of the limb, the arm should be bent and the leg should be straight when bandaging.
